An old sketch that I wanted to work up into a concept piece.....wanted to keep it loose though!. Think I need to break out of the sunset thing....it's getting old!

Floating city concept

playing around with shapes and color over a quick block model in Maya. It's a bit cartoony so next concept I want to be a little more realistic.

Speedpaint done over an old sketch, don't think it was very successful, composition is off and perspective.

Updated city with more contrast, got rid of the light source at the right, added lights and details, I like it much better now. Listening to some of Feng Zhu's wisdom while I work :)

Quick Speedpaint, done in less than an hour. Some clunky shapes (especially on the sides of the building) but trying to learn!.
